Public Transit and Cabs
Travel around the city like a local on the “T”, Boston’s public transportation system. Boston's transit network is extensive; see the city by subway, bus, rail, or boat.Operated by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, the "T” will take you (almost) everywhere in the Greater Boston area.
Shuttle buses from all official BIO International Convention hotels will be available for travel between the hotels and the convention center. A detailed schedule will be posted about 3 weeks before the Convention begins.

Airport
Boston's Logan International Airport is an easy 15-20 minute drive from the city center and offers airport-wide free WiFi access. Learn more about Logan and find information on airlines, flights, security and directions to the airport.
Express Silver Line Airport Service: the MBTA will offer the 2012 BIO International Convention direct bus service from the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center to Logan Airport on Wednesday and Thursday.

Parking at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC)
To self-park at the concvention center, from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking lot in front of you.
In the event that onsite parking has reached capacity, additional parking may be available at either the Boston Marine Industrial Park (BMIP) or lots on the Waterfront. All alternate parking lots are on a first come first serve basis and are within walking distance of the BCEC.
