If you have not already made this payment, please do so as soon as possible to ensure that your booth reservation is not in jeopardy. If you have already made the November payment, please be aware of the upcoming January 13, 2012 final payment deadline at which the total balance of the booth is to be paid in full.

Attendee Registration is Open
- Participants (not exhibitors, EBP’s, or exhibit booth staff) for the 2012 BIO International Convention were able to register at the early-bird rates on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. This attendee registration is for those who are participating in the convention beyond or outside of the BIO Exhibition.
- If members of your staff are planning to attend sessions or if they are going to purchase Convention Access registrations or Convention Access & Partnering registrations so they may enter the BIO Business Forum area – they may register as attendees now.
- If they are also working within your booth or pavilion, during the attendee registration process they will be able to indicate their dual status of being both an attendee and an exhibitor. They will need to have their correct booth number available.
- You do not need to be an EBP first if an upgrade is planned. Upgrading from an EBP badge does not provide a financial discount.
- Two badges are not provided so one badge will indicate the dual statuses of your registration.
- The BIO International Convention registration badge and security procedures are designed to accommodate those participants who are both Attendees & Exhibitors during the four days of the convention.
Exhibitor Registration Will Open January 2012

The following types of registrations will not be processed until exhibitor registration site opens:
- Exhibitor Booth Personnel (EBP)
- Complimentary Convention Access registrations (provided to BIO member companies as outlined in your agreement)
- The identification of your Primary Partnering Contact (PPC), (if your company is choosing to take part in the new Exhibitor Booth Partnering offered as a value-add in 2012).
Additional details will be forthcoming over the next three months about Exhibitor Booth Partnering, but most importantly:
- The same individual cannot be the Primary Partnering Contact (PPC) for a booth or a sharee within a pavilion and also be active as a Convention Access & Partnering attendee and hold an individual account within the BIO Business Forum system. In other words, you must either be handling / in charge of your booth’s account or you can have a private individual account – but not both.
- EBP’s should not register for an Exhibition Access badge. This will not provide them the ability to be on the exhibition floor before or after operational hours. They need to be registered as an EBP (Exhibitor Booth Personnel).
Please don't hesitate to contact exhibit@bio.org to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
